I love shoes

Every girl loves a good pair of shoes...and if you don't, then I'm not sure I want to know you.  I have a special place in my heart for heels.  Most people assume that I love heels because I'm short.  ?   No, I just love heels, and I'm pretty sure that I would love them even if I were 7 feet tall.  I love that my husband is a whole foot taller than me, so it allows my heel range to be pretty wide.  12'' to be exact.

There is one type of heel that I feel was specifically made for me.  Seriously I have never worn a better heel, overall.  It's as if the designer took a mold of my beautiful feet and created a masterpiece just for me.  They are so comfortable.  I just love them so much more than any other shoe I own.  I am 5'1 and maybe it helps that this designer is also a "petite" woman...she is just a few inches taller than me.  So if you haven't already guessed...or if you know me at all...then you know that I'm referring to Jessica Simpson's Shoes .
While finding a spot in my shoe closet for my latest purchase, I decided to showcase my collection.

So this is my collection, it's not large, but it's slowly growing.  I love every single pair.  They each have their own special memories.

A few Memories:
Top Left: my first Jessica Simpson shoe purchase...my life changed forever.  You can tell that the shoe is a bit out of style...and very worn.  Love that shoe.
Middle Left: I purchased those this last summer, and wore them for a special funeral.
Bottom Left: These are the very first Jessica's that I made Shawn buy for me. I remember standing there in Nordstrom giving him 101 reasons why I needed that shoe.  Guess it worked!
Top Right:  Newest purchase. I have been looking for a red heel forever!  So glad that I stumbled upon these at the Rack today.  "Lipstick" red?  Yes please!
Bottom Right: My wedding day shoes.  Awwwww.....such fun memories. Can't believe that that day was almost 4 years ago!

So I love Jessica Simpson's shoes.  & how can you not help but love Jessica Simpson herself?  I fell in love with her on her reality show with Nick Lachey, "The Newly Weds".  This is where my love for reality tv was born.   And I bawled my eyes out when Nick opened his heart to the world, and cried when he told everyone that their marriage ended.  And now Jessica is pregnant...and so is Nich's wife...and I couldn't be happier for them.
This shoe will be my next Jessica purchase:

Miss me?

What we've been up to lately...

I forced Shawn to take some new "family" photos.  He was such a grouch the whole morning.  I wasn't sure if I was ever going to get him there.  He finally snapped out of it, and we actually had a lot of fun.  I still haven't seen all of the edited pictures, hopefully soon.

I can't believe I'm saying this...I'M ALMOST DONE WITH SCHOOL.  More like the end is in sight.  We register for our board exams really soon, and its making it all seem so real!  I take boards in December.  DECEMBER??? Only 9 months away!  Which means I really need to start studying for them.

I am in the middle of pharmacology right now.  I thought oral pathology was the hardest class...I WISH I could go back to that class.  Pharm is ridiculous.  I thought it would just be memorizing drugs.  nope.  Just a few more weeks left...and then I'm hoping that the homework load might ease up just a little bit... so that I might actually have some spare time to be able to study for boards.
Shawn is busier than ever with soccer.  We were in Vegas last month for a men's tournament that he played in.  Shawn really doesn't even get to play very often.  Coaching is what takes up all of his time.  There are only a handful of people that I know who really understand our soccer life. Everyone else thinks that soccer is just a summer/spring sport.  & that Shawn just "enjoys" playing with his friends.  This is definitely not the case.  Soccer is year round.  & it never really slows down, except for maybe just a little during futsal season.  His older boys just tried out for all of their high school teams.  Shawn was a stress case all week worrying about his boys making their teams.  He is a great coach, and his boys really look up to him.  We just found out that Shawn needs knee surgery.  Poor Shawn.

Some weeks I feel like I never get to see Shawn during the week.
What keeps us so busy?
  • Soccer/ Futsal almost every week night
  • Clinic/cleaning teeth
  • Pharm Lecture
  • Full time Job for shawn
  • work for me
  • Study time
  • Gym time
  • Finding patients!!!
  • Activity days
  • Hunting down my patients when they don't show up...
  • Did I say soccer/futsal?
We are so tired by the end of the week that we usually are so boring on the weekends:
  • Clean
  • Study
  • maybe just a little more soccer
  • Church
  • Movies! -we love our movies!
  • Family time
  • Friend time?
  • More studying
  • Paper writing
  • Relaxing time
Elena.Chandra.Jess.Me...on our way to convention.
I have made a few really great friends from hygiene school.  I don't know what I would ever do with out Chandra.  Sometimes being with the same girls every day for what will be 2 1/2 years, is hard.  There are some really fun/great girls.  I feel like I can get along with pretty much anyone.  But. When I graduate. There are some people that I just will not miss(:

I miss blogging.  & being so behind stresses me out. There are a lot of things that I've had to put on the back burner lately. I feel like I'm usually so "on top" of things.  School has turned me into a zombie.  Shawn would tell you that this lack of control I have in my life has turned me into a little bit of an obsessive compulsive mess.  I think that if keeping the apartment clean, and running/working out, and eating healthy are the only things I can control right now...then I'm going to control them.  Mmk?

Anyone need their teeth cleaned??? Starting at the end of this month I will be seeing patients on Monday/Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.
