South Korea?!?

My little brother opened his mission call on wednesday. It was crazy. No one guessed Korea. He was so cute and so excited the whole rest of the night. He leaves January 14, so crazy. It was weird not to have Kevin there, but we can't wait to talk to him in a couple of weeks for Christmas. Can you believe i'm going to have 2 out of 3 brother's on a mission!?! Thanksgiving

So I know that I just barely posted, but my camera has been broken and we just got it back from repair. . .This Thanksgiving we decided to go with my family down to Arizona to visit my Dad's family. It has been a fun trip and okay weather . . . a lot better than home!!!

we loved it, you should all see it. We also saw Twilight this week,

that however, was a huge disappointment for all of us!

This trip was full of games from pool, to poker to mostly guitar hero.

We had a great trip, but we are excited to go home and get back to normal life. It was fun to visit all the fam in AZ! We love you all. please bless you guys will all come up skiing soon!

Shawn's Birthday!!!

Shawn has been having issues with his age. He is pretty much going through a mid 20's crisis. seriously. . . but I think he is starting to come to terms with it. . . maybe!?!





For his birthday he flew up to Seattle to tryout for a mls team. It has always been his dream, so he finally just decided to do it. He didn't make it, but he had a lot of fun and learned a lot. He shares his birthday with my mom, so we had 2 dinners. One at my grandma's and then one later that night at his parents! I hope he had a great birthday!

My Birthday!!!

So I just celebrated another birthday. . . i'm freaking old! 22. . . i'm going to hate my life for the next year. I hate even numbers! Sunday was my "sunday birthday" and we went over to my parents for birthday dinner, clam chowder in bread bowls, my mom is the best cook ever. Shawn's parents and brother came over and then we had my favorite ice cream cake and played games and had fun! For my real birthday I had to work, so my mom surprised me and brought me her famous chips'n'salsa and presents and took me out to lunch. The girls at work mad my day special too. they are so cute, i love them. Then that night we went out for sushi with like 18 friends. It was so much fun. thanks everyone for coming!!!

Golfing

So any one who knows my dad, knows that he is a huge golfer. My brothers all golf, my grandpas on both sides golf, my uncles, EVERYONE. My dad decided that since Shawn is officially part of the family he now had to learn how to golf. We went with my parents to Talons Cover Golf Course (where my brothers have all worked) and my dad taught Shawn how to golf. We started at the range and ended up playing a couple holes. He picked it up way quick and I'm pretty sure my dad was impressed. I ended up with a huge blister on my hand, and I might have smashed a couple clubs into the ground, (you can tell how frustrated I was in the picture) but it was a fun night. Good luck to Shawn trying to beat my dad the rest of his life!!! (:
